Talking about Centre Ville in Orléans, a huge city square, is an extremely pleasant and remarkable area for walking and exploring around, since any sort of vehicle is not permitted to be used in the respectable area. Many great shops as well as some famous restaurants are located on the square and on the streets nearby.
Another interesting thing about the city is that it is mostly associated with Joan d’Arc who ultimately helped in defeating the English in the seige of Orleans. In this city, you will see various tributes presented to her such as a statue, a museum in her honour and her house where she lived.
Coming to our time in Orléans was definitely one of the best experience we had. Seeing the city’s historical sights and cultural heritage gives remarkable feelings of joy and commendable exposure.
