The novel coronavirus, which was first discovered in Wuhan in November 2019, has immensely
affected the world and its population. Due to this deadly virus, plenty of countries faced economic
challenges, which are quite hard to deal. Tourism sector is an example of such challenges, since it
is one of those industries which have suffered momentously due to Covid-19.
Talking about some remarkable tourist destinations, which came under impact of tourism industry
coming at halt, Venice is definitely not to be missed. In the summer season of 2019, when the
world nearly paused, Venice mainly missed its thousands of tourists. Not to forget Italy was one
of the hardest countries at that time so travelling in that situation could never have been possible.
With the passage of time covid restrictions are getting relaxed and Italy has slowly started to re
welcome its tourists. However, this year the number of tourists visiting Venice, in comparison
with every year, has fallen due to which this year can be a convenient time to enjoy visiting the
city since the tourists’ spots will not have to welcome huge crowds like the previous years.
Well, even though the Covid 19 cases have been reduced over the past few months, but
precautions regarding safety from the novel coronavirus still remains the foremost priority with
complete vaccination on top of the list. With the pandemic changing the world completely in the
previous year, lets keep our hopes for getting back to normalcy extremely high. We would
definitely recommend everyone to start travelling and give a rise to tourism sector once again.
