The Leaning Tower of Pisa

The leaning tower of Pisa is an exceptional piece of art. Its construction and incredible architecture attract tourists from all over the world.
During the 12th century, the towers tilt began at the time of its construction due to the soft ground on one side which was unable to support the structure’s weight. The tower kept on leaning till the 14th century. Then the tilt gradually increased until the tower was stabilized in the late 20th and 21st century.
However, after undergoing the phase of strengthening, in May 2008 it was announced that that tower has been stabilized to such an extent that it had stopped leaning for the first time in its history.
Due to its leaning position, the tower is considered as one of the most well-known landmarks in Italy.
The tower is situated in the town of Pisa. It is the only interesting tourist destination in town while the rest of the area is quite boring. So anyone planning a visit to the town of Pisa, is recommended not to spend more than one day over there.
Tourists can enjoy the experience of Pisa town by taking the Pisa city tour. The visit to the Leaning to Tower of Pisa in included in the tour. The cost price per person for the city tour is around 14,000/-.
If the visitors want, they can also the witness the beautiful sights of Pisa tower from inside. The ticket price for visiting the tower from inside is 4500/-.
Several different stalls are present outside the location. Pisa tower souvenirs, magnets, badges and various other items are available in the stalls.
Different spots for pictures exist around the tower. A perfect picture can be captured by standing on the rocks in front of the cathedral and the tower.
It is always to good carry water bottles and some snacks with you. The recommended dress for the day can be anything as long as it is comfortable. However, the dress must be paired with joggers.
The only disadvantage of place is that it is very crowded because Leaning tower of Pisa, being one of the Wonders of the World, is an extremely spectacular and eye catching sight.
Hence, everyone visiting the region of Tuscany in Italy should definitely experience the joy of visiting this popular tourist destination.

The Great Colosseum of Rome, Italy

The great Colosseum of Rome is an historic preservation and an exceptional tourist spot. Its maintenance gives a perfect example of the way Europeans have preserved their architecture throughout the past years. The spot has an audience of thousands of tourists per day.
The Colosseum was used for various activities such as gladiatorial contests, mock sea battles, animal hunts, re-enactments of famous battles and dramas based on Classical Mythology.
However, the activities ceased to occur in the early medieval era.

Sight seeing of the Colosseum is free of cost but to have glimpse of its inner design requires a ticket which is 2125/-PKR per person. Children and teenagers under the age of 18 does not require a pass. Tourist can even have a tour of the Colosseum from inside at night as well and whoever wants can also experience the joy of spending an entire night inside.
Food and beverages can easily be availed at nearby restaurants. Many people sale water bottles outside the Colosseum so it wont be a problem if any of you does not carry your own water bottles.

For tourists to have great view of the whole sight captured in their photographs, many spots has been built for clicking pictures. To stand on the large stones scattered in the grounds is one of the best way to get the whole sight captured in the camera.

However, the surroundings of the place are not clean as Rome itself is dirty.

The recommended dress for the day depends on the weather but its always good to wear t shirts paired with jeans or trousers.
The fares of taxis are a bit expensive in Rome so its better to rent a hotel in the middle of the city. This has an avid advantage that all the famous tourist spots in Rome specially the Colosseum will be near to your hotel . This will prevent you from spending your money extravagantly on taxis.

We would definitely recommend everyone visiting Rome to see this largest amphitheatre ever built. It is an extremely wonderful experience to visit an ancient place like this.

Mont Blanc, Swiss Alps

Mont Blanc, highest mountain in the Alps, is considered to be the top of the world.
It is perfect place for those people who want to enjoy the beauty of nature.
Cable car is one of the ways to reach at the top. One cable car is able to accommodate almost 30 persons. However, it is preferable to avoid baggage , strollers etc in the cable car to avoid congestion.

The cable car journey begins from Chamonix which is a French commune, and ends at the top of the Peak.

The way to reach Chamonix is mostly via Geneva. The recommended method of transport is to go by a bus or a car. A bus takes about one hour and thirty minutes to reach Chamonix from Geneva. However trains are not feasible because of their limited number and at most of the time they are not direct which increases the duration of journey.

The round trip ticket price for children (5-14) and senior citizens (65+ years) is 14,000/- while for adults (15-64) it is around 16,000/- to 17,000/- per person thus it turns out to be one of the most expensive tourist destinations.

Food and beverages are available at the top. Warm clothes are recommended due to the chilling weather there. Perfect spots and views are present for pictures. A glass cabin has been built there because of which the tourist can enjoy the experience of skywalk.
However, the place is not recommended for infants becuase of a little bit deficiency of oxygen at the top due to the height of the mountain.

Overall, the journey is an incredible and a lifetime experience so whoever is planning to visit Europe should include this spectacluar destination in their trip.

Gardens By The Bay

Gardens By The Bay is an exceptional tourist attraction in Singapore. The place has an avid advantage of attracting tourists because of its most important element i.e nature and is therefore a perfect place for those who love it.
We would definetly recommend everyone to visit the place atleast once. As compared to other tourists spots in Singapore, Gardens By The Bay is quite reasonable. The entry ticket prices are as follows:
• Child (3-12) = 2400 PKR
• Adult = 4480 PKR
However, The Cloud Forest and The Sky Bridge are not included in the entry ticket and requires seperate passes.
There are millions of species of plants and flowers preserved in an alluring environment
Cloud Forest provides its visitors the opportunity to experience the mesmerizing sight of an indoor waterfall.
Food and beverages are available there specially in the supermarts. Halal food for muslims can also be bought.
From our personal experience there we would rate the park as follows:
• Serenity 9/10
• Preservation of the plants 10/10
• Environment 10/10
The only disadvantage the spot has is that there are plenty of lizards.
Recommended dress to wear for the day is T shirts with Trousers paired with comfortable slippers because of the hot weather of Singapore
It is always good to carry an umbrella or a rain coat in case of unexpected rain
Tourists get to witness an outstanding light show as well at night. Although we could not stay there till night due to lack of time but will surely ask everyone visiting the gardens to see the light show. The light show is scheduled to take place every night at 7:45 and 8:45 and is free of cost.
Overall the surroundings and the serenity of the gardens is so eye catching and the feeling of the nature there is a major source of mind relaxation for all. Gardens By The Bay is a must visit place in Singapore.

Universal Studios, Singapore

Universal studios Singapore is a very popular tourist destination and is an exceptional place for a perfect family vacation.

The ambiance is excellent. Rides, shows, fireworks and everything is very thrilling as well as exciting.
Food and beverages are present in the park. However, we would recommend fluids instead of food as they are refreshing and reasonable. Halal food, for Muslims, is available inside the park specially in Egyptian restaurants.

Ticket price for an adult is 8700 PKR. We would rate the park as follows:
Ambiance 9/10
Rides 8.5 /10
Food 7.5/10
Shows 9.5/10

Recommended dress for the park is wearing a T-shirt with tights or trousers pairing it with a very comfortable pair of slippers or joggers.

However, it is very crowded place in peak tourist seasons because of which you might have to wait in long queues for any particular ride so for that reason we would recommend everyone to go for express passes although they are quite expensive but will definitely cut down the time of waiting in queues.
Overall, visiting this park was an incredible experience.
